Three teenagers in the UK have admitted to harassing a lesbian couple on a bus in London after they refused to kiss.
According to ‘The Hill’ the two 16-year olds and a 15-year old pleaded guilty in Highbury Magistrates’ Court. They had previously denied the charges.
The lesbian couple reported the attack in late May. The three teenagers will be sentenced on December 23rd. According to Prosecutor Saira Khan, all three teenagers had different roles to play in the attack.
“No one should ever be victimised because of their sexuality and I hope that this result brings some form of closure to both victims and they can put this ordeal behind them,” Detective Constable Darren Barlow said in the police release.
