Three teenagers have been arrested after they murdered a gay man, Juan Fresnada, in the Bronx, New York on Christmas day.
Fresnada was brutally beaten to death as he exited a local McDonald’s with his partner. After Fresnada’s partner, Byron Ceceres, left to seek help, he returned to find his partner “on the ground with severe head injuries,” according to ‘Gay Times’.
Police were able to identify the attackers through video footage and were disappointed to see that none of the passing drivers or pedestrians attempted to help.
“My husband tried to defend me,” said Caceres. “The guy had his fist ready like he was ready to attack me. My husband said, ‘Don’t you get close to him.’ They were beating him for 10 or 15 minutes. I went back and found him on the floor.”
A 14-year-old boy, a 15-year-old boy and an 18-year old have been arrested.
