Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black announce baby

British Olympic diver Tom Daley and American screenwriter Dustin Lance Black have announced they are expecting their first child. The couple shared the news on their social media accounts on Valentine’s Day with a picture of them embracing and holding a baby scan picture.

No further details – about whether a surrogate is involved or not – have been revealed. Tom Daley’s mum has, however, said she is “delighted” by the news.

Daley, 23, won bronze at both the London and Rio Olympics, Black, 43, is best known for his Oscar-winning screenplay for the 2008 film Milk. The couple wed nine months ago.
