Global: WorkPride - myGwork
WorkPride is a 5-day series of events aimed towards inclusive employers, graduates, professionals, and anyone who simply believes in achieving workplace equality. Taking place entirely virtually, each year WorkPride welcomes thousands of people from around the globe to discuss work conditions, share strategies, and explore options for optimizing diversity and inclusion. The aim of the event is to regularly spark conversations around the treatment of LGBTQ, and to avoid complacency in the ongoing endeavor to achieve equality. The WorkPride 2023 event takes place between 19-23 June, Monday-Friday, morning until evening. With an enormous range of topics to discuss, each day and each individual event covers a different subject matter. Technology: Out in Tech – LGBTQ+ Events
Non-profit LGBTQ+ charity Out in Tech have set up a range of events over the course of Pride Month, specifically focusing on various aspects of the technology industries. With the intention of allowing interactivity between LGBTQ+ tech professionals, as well as inspiring diversity and inclusion efforts, Out in Tech are including panels aimed towards all identities and backgrounds.
With online events hosted across the globe, including discussions about communication, trans equality, and even virtual pride parties, Out in Tech is providing plenty of opportunities for people interested in the technology industries to network and discuss the common goal of achieving inclusivity and LGBTQ+ equality. Business: Absent Voices from the LGBTQ+ Movement – Inclusive Employers
In a world where superficial diversity is becoming less acceptable, and authentic, intersectional inclusion is the new path forward, it’s more important than ever to discuss how we can be more accepting of all identities in the workplace and beyond. Talking through recent developments in LGBTQ+ progression and the value of providing a platform to voices in the community who are too-often overlooked, Inclusive Employers is hosting a panel discussion in an effort to uplift such voices.
Appropriate for long-time allies and people who have just begun their allyship journey, this webinar will provide attendees with the means to understand true intersectionality and adapt their knowledge on modern diversity. Arts and Media: Creating Inclusive Events and Spaces for LGBTQ+ Artists and Audiences - Goulburn Valley Pride
The creative arts would not be nearly as vibrant and empowering if not for the historic contributions of LGBTQ+ people. From artwork to storytelling, performance to music, the LGBTQ+ community is brimming with creative souls who deserve to have their voices uplifted. Goulburn Valley Pride is providing the opportunity to do just that, with their free event ‘Creating Inclusive Events & Spaces for LGBTIQA+ Artists & Audiences’.

Global: Employee Resource Groups
As LGBTQ+ rights progress and more and more people are coming out as part of the community, it’s becoming increasingly integral for businesses to implement support groups for such individuals. As such, in recent years, diversity and inclusion standards have seen a rise in LGBTQ+ related employee resource groups. If you are not signed up for your company’s LGBTQ+ network, this month could be the perfect opportunity to look into it! If your business does not currently have an LGBTQ+ employee resource group, perhaps you could take the first step in building one?
The Stonewall Equality Index provides a full list every year of the top places to work as an LGBTQ+ person. Currently at the top are businesses such as Clifford Chance and Arup, whose employees work hard every day to ensure equality, diversity and inclusion is maintained throughout their workspace.
