Toronto pharmacy releases a sex-positive PSA for gay men

MedsEXPERT, a gay-owned LGBT+ pharmacy in Toronto, has released a provocative new sexual health campaign. The video depicts a young gay man with an active sex life, which includes Scruff hook ups, threesomes, and meeting guys at the gym. He also has a prescription for PrEP and regularly gets STI checks.

Michael Fanous, the owner of medsEXPERT, explains the racy PSA: “There is still a lot of stigma out there around the sex gay men have, it’s not always easy to find friendly or knowledgeable doctors and healthcare providers for LGBTQ+ folks.

“Through this campaign, medsEXPERT wants to acknowledge the sex that men have and for all of us to be proud of who we are. Gay, bisexual, and queer men should not feel ashamed, guilty, or judged because of the sex they are having.”

The video ends with the message: “Don’t hate the player… or the game. Take pride in your health! Ask real questions. Get expert advice. And never apologize for being who you are.”
