Trump’s LGBT+ Spokesperson Admits President May Not Know He’s Gay

Judd Deere, the openly gay deputy press secretary for the Trump administration and who often speaks for the President on LGBT+ issues, has admitted in an interview with BuzzFeedthat Trump may not actually know he is gay.

Deere told BuzzFeed that Trump “doesn’t treat me any differently because I’m gay.”

Then added that he wasn’t sure the President knew he was out.

“If he asked me, sure, I’d have the conversation with him,” he said.

“It’s not something I hide,” he continued.“[But] I don’t walk into the White House every day and say, ‘I’m Judd Deere; I’m gay.’

“…individuals that I work with in [the White House] don’t treat me any differently because I’m gay.”

Deeree supports many of Trump’s controversial anti-LGBT+ policies, including the infamous baker who refused to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple.

“Yeah, that’s fine. I’ll just go find another cake shop that will,” he said.
