Although the whole world is in lockdown that couldn’t stop the San Francisco’s Gay Men’s Chorus from singing together. The group has released a virtual “performance” featuring 150 members singing together, from their respective homes.
The group performs a mashup of Cyndi Lauper’s classic ‘True Colors’ and Sara Bareille’s ‘Brave’, a song titled ‘Truly Brave’.
“SFGMC’s first virtual chorus performance is dedicated to the ‘Truly Brave’ first responders and healthcare workers on the frontlines of COVID-19,” the chorus posted with the video. “You are our heroes.”
As ‘LGBTQ Nation’ reports, this is the first time the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus has released a virtual performance in their 42 year-long history.
