Watch: Cast of Orange is the New Black crash a lesbian wedding in Sydney

Out comedian Lea DeLaria and a few of her fellow Orange is the New Black cast members crashed a lesbian wedding in Sydney, Australia over the weekend. The actors were in Sydney for the annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and were asked to surprise one of the brides, who is a big fan of the show.

Yael Stone, who plays Lorna Morello on the show, spoke at their wedding: “As an Australian, we’ve waited a long time for this to happen, you know, and we’re really, really proud that we can be here and celebrate you guys individually and celebrate this change across this beautiful country that needed to change. So, this is a beautiful moment and thank you for sharing with us.”

DeLaria also serenaded the couple: “I sang for the brides and danced with everyone,” she wrote on Instagram, “Fucking living in Oz!”

Australia formally legalised same-sex marriage in January of this year after a plebiscite in November delivered a landslide “Yes” result.
