What’s Happening This Weekend: Pride Edition!

It’s that time of year! There are hundreds of Pride events happening all around the world this weekend, here are some of our top picks:

Cologne Pride

Culminating with a massive street festival on Sunday with hundreds of thousands of participants, Cologne Pride is not to be missed! Celebrations include parties, political events, film screenings, cultural activities,and more.

Madrid Pride Orgullo MADO

The largest and most popular pride in Europe, Madrid Pride attracts more than 2 million people every year. The ten-day festival begins this weekend and concludes this weekend with a huge parade Saturday.

Pride in London

The London Pride Parade starts this Saturdayfrom the BBC Broadcasting House to Oxford Circus, down Regent Street, through Piccadilly Circus, Lower Regent Street, past Trafalgar Square and into Whitehall.The Trafalgar Square main stage will be headlined by Pose star Billy Porter. There will also be appearances from X Factor singer Saara Aalto and RuPaul’s Drag Race rebel Willam.

UK Black Pride

Moving to Haggerston Park this year, UK Black Pride celebrates the country’s queer BAME community (black, Asian and minority ethnic). Performers include MNEK, Aaron Carty’s Beyoncé Experience, and more!

Luxembourg Pride

Includes a number of fun events: a queer movie night (9 July), parade, street fest and closing party (13 July) and the rainbow breakfast and streetfest (14 July).
