What’s Happening This Weekend: Pride Edition!

What an incredible Pride season it’s been! As July closes out and August begins we get to celebrate the last few prides of the summer, here are our picks of the some of the best.

Prague Gay Pride

The largest LGBT+ event in Czechia, the week-long gay festivities include concerts, theatre, workshops, exhibitions, films, lectures, and dance parties, culminating with a massive parade on Saturday the 11th.

Brighton and Hove Pride

Perhaps the most popular Pride in the UK, LGBT+ people from all across Europe flock to the beaches of Brighton for a weekend of dancing and parties. This year the guest of honour is none other than Kylie Minogue, she’ll be preforming her hits in the park.

Stockholm Pride

The largest pride of its kind in Scandinavia. This week-long festival includes workshops, seminars, concerts and much more held throughout the city. Thousands of people gather for the parade on Saturday.

Cartagena Gay Pride

The largest gay event in the Caribbean, includesparades, a drag race, arts events, a boat party and more.

Pride Amsterdam

More than 500,000 spectators will descend on Amsterdam this weekend for one of Europe’s most popular prides. Party along the canals with incredible floats and spectacular costumes. The best places to see Pride are the Reguliersdwarsstraat, Amstel and Rembrandtplein areas.
