Where Are the LGBTQ+ Jobs? 20 Cities, Counted

There are 65,872 live roles on myGwork right now, all at employers that have made a public commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion. The question most jobseekers actually ask is narrower than "where are the LGBTQ+ jobs" — it is whether there are any near them. So we counted, city by city, on 16 September 2026.

Two things stand out before the list. The first is how uneven the distribution is: London alone carries more openings than Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam and Warsaw combined. The second is how much of the inventory sits outside the cities people expect — Bangalore and Tokyo both carry more live roles than San Francisco.

Every role above comes from an employer that has published a profile with us covering its policies, benefits, employee networks and leadership position. That is a meaningfully higher bar than a job appearing on a general board, and it is not the same as a guarantee.

The gap between a global policy and a local reality is the thing to interrogate, particularly outside the employer's home market. A company can run an excellent inclusion programme in London and a local handbook in another country that quietly tracks local law instead.
