For the past four years, myGwork has organized an online event called WorkFair. It became the largest global virtual career fair for the LGBTQ+ community, providing thousands of people with unique opportunities within a matter of minutes. But what takes place in this event to equip participants with such a beneficial advantage, and how can you make the most of this chance? Taking place on October 18th, here’s how WorkFair operates!
Essentially, our annual WorkFair provides job seekers, recent graduates and students with the opportunity to network and connect with dozens of LGBTQ+ inclusive employee-seeking global organizations, completely free of charge. The LGBTQ+ community is ever-expanding, so here at myGwork we want to provide members of the community with the option to explore organizations that won’t discriminate against them based on sexual orientation or gender identity. With multiple employers involved including Amazon, Santander, ASOS, Warner Bros. Discovery, and many more there are a range of golden opportunities for participants with a variety of interests.
Not only can WorkFair provide these rare chances to work with huge corporations, but it also hosts:
- Company webinars, to get to know more about the company and their aims for inclusivity.
- Career workshops, specifically geared towards improving your job-searching skills and interview techniques.
- Real-time responses to job postings and the chance to book one-on-one interviews, meaning you could be minutes away from securing your dream job at any time.
Panels on achieving workplace inclusivity will also feature throughout the day, to reassure you on how the employers at WorkFair are going the extra mile to ensure that their workspace is inclusive and a safe space for LGBTQ+ employees.
Here are just some of the WorkFair events taking place this year:
- Attracting Talent: Effective Hiring in a Competitive Market
- Future Trends in the Workplace
- Navigating the Graduate Job Search

Don’t miss out on this exceptional chance! Perfect for students who need to get their foot in the door, recent graduates who are searching for what’s next, and for LGBTQ+ jobseekers with concerns about how they will be treated, WorkFair strives to provide everyone involved with the opportunity to achieve.
