WorkPride 2025 recap: A week of global LGBTQ+ workplace empowerment

myGwork's sixth annual WorkPride event, held between June 16th and June 20th, proved to be a resounding success, bringing together thousands of attendees from around the globe for five days of impactful discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities.

With over 45 panels and workshops featuring more than 200 speakers, the event encouraged engagement and provided valuable, authentic insights into building more inclusive and equitable workplaces for LGBTQ+ professionals. Participants actively interacted with panelists and fellow attendees more than ever before, creating a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere.

The week-long event was made possible by the generous support of its main sponsor, Booking.com, alongside day sponsors: Organon, RS Group, Canada Life, València Gay Games, and Taylor Wessing. Their continued commitment underscores the growing value of LGBTQ+ inclusion in the corporate world.

Friday Evening Networking Event at The Reveller, Tower of London:

The week culminated in a fantastic networking event held at The Reveller, located at the historic Tower of London. Attendees were greeted with canapés and entertainment as they arrived, providing a relaxed and engaging environment for professionals to connect.

The Cocktail Hour, proudly sponsored by Gay Games XII València 2026, featured the "Agua de València," a signature Spanish cocktail. This refreshing drink was the perfect cooler for the summer heatwave, adding a vibrant touch to the evening.

On top of a fun walk-in photo booth and a fantastic DJ set, the event also featured inspiring speeches from myGwork's Aasha Tikoo and renowned activist Jason Jones Their words on the value of community, progression and not giving up on the fight for rights resonated with the audience, reinforcing the importance of continued advocacy and progress in LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion.
