World AIDS Day with Softcat
December 13, 2022This year marks 40 years since the first case of HIV/AIDS in the UK.
🎗️ We wore red ribbons across our UK offices as a symbol of awareness and support for those living with HIV.
They are available for our staff to purchase across all our UK offices and all funds collected will go to the UK's leading HIV and sexual health charity – Terrence Higgins Trust.
🤝 Our Pride Network has partnered and worked alongside the Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) for the past few years to support people living with HIV and amplify their voices.
THT was named after Terry Higgins, who was the first named person in the UK to die of an aids-related illness. As well as supporting people living with HIV, THT continuously advocate for better care and education across the UK and their goal is to end new transmissions of HIV in the UK by 2030.
