World Pride Music Festival confirms all-star lineup from Kim Petras, Troye Sivan and Jennifer Lopez

WorldPride is set to take place in the United States this year, accompanied by a star-studded music festival. On Tuesday, WorldPride Music Festival announced that the 2025 edition will feature Jennifer Lopez, Kim Petras and Troye Sivan as headliners. The event will be held in Washington, D.C. on June 6 and 7, according to ‘Rolling Stone’.

The lineup is impressive, featuring a blend of top DJs and pop stars. Performers include pop singers Grimes, Kim Petras, Marina, Raye, Rita Ora, Paris Hilton, and Tinashe across three stages. In the EDM genre, Galantis, Sofi Tukker, Purple Disco Machine, and RuPaul will deliver DJ sets. A special closing set by Zedd will conclude the music-filled weekend.

“I’m beyond excited to be performing at WorldPride in Washington, D.C. this June. Pride is about unity, freedom, and being unapologetically you,” Hilton tells Rolling Stone. “It’s going to be an unforgettable weekend of music, love, and celebration with our incredible LGBTQ+ community and allies from around the world.”

Additional performers include Slayyter, Betty Who, Patrick Mason, Dombresky, and Trisha Paytas, as well as EDM sets from ESSEL, Aluna, Disco Dom, Leland + Friends, and Ty Sunderland. Sasha Colby from RuPaul’s Drag Race will also take the stage.

The festival will be held at the RFK Stadium festival grounds.

“WorldPride Music Festival is a moment the world will remember,” stated Jake Resnicow, who is organising the event alongside Club Glow and Insomniac. “With legendary artists and our global community coming together, we’re creating an electrifying celebration that unites, uplifts, and amplifies LGBTQ+ voices like never before.”

“Hosting this festival in our nation’s capital makes it even more powerful,” he added. “It’s not just a party, it’s a global movement.”

The 2025 festival has encountered some challenges following Donald Trump’s election. Earlier this month, Booz Allen Hamilton, a tech company, withdrew its sponsorship due to Trump’s executive order on DEI programs. Egale Canada, an LGBTQ+ charity, also withdrew in protest of the Trump administration’s policies. “Just like many American companies and LGBTQ+ organizations, we are navigating current challenges and many unknowns,” a previous WorldPride statement said. “We are confident, however, that we will have the support necessary to have a successful and safe WorldPride that meets this moment.”

This U.S.A. edition comes two years after Sydney hosted WorldPride in 2023 with performers like Kelly Rowland, Charli XCX, Kylie Minogue, Kim Petras, and Ava Max. Amsterdam is scheduled to host the 2026 WorldPride, followed by Cape Town, South Africa in 2028.
