The 29th American Brotherhood Weekend (ABW) has something for everyone. Join us for a weekend filled with fun, family, food and festivities. ABW is a celebration of the bond of Leather families. It is a weekend filled with great energy and camaraderie, and we look forward to welcoming you into the American Leather Family, October 5-7. 2018.

Mid-American Fists In Action are enjoying their monthly bar night with us at ABW. Learn more about this local group and ask them about their party that will be Saturday night. They will tell you all about their group and have some fun raffles to support their organization.

Join with fellow attendees for a continental breakfast, a cup of coffee and maybe a Bloody Mary or a Screwdriver to get your day started off right. Need to pick up your weekend package or purchase some vintage ABW swag, we’ve got you covered!

1:30 – 5:00 pm 
American Brotherhood Contests – Part 1
The Leather Archives and Museum
6418 N Greenview Ave, Chicago, IL 60626
The first day of competition begins at 2:00 pm. Categories include: Introduction, Formal Speech, Hot Wear and the ever popular Fantasy. Come prepared to bid on fabulous baskets assembled by our contestants as we auction them to the highest bidders. Proceeds from the basket auction go to support the ABW Travel Fund.

5:00 – 10:00 pm
Attendees are welcome to return to Touche for cocktails after the contest concludes, or head out for dinner on their own, with friends and new acquaintances.

5:00 – 7:30 pm
ABW Family Dinner

Raffles, music, fun and all on behalf of Vital Bridges our partner charity for ABW. Join us after some time out dining to raise some much needed funds for the local AIDS Pantry that has been a part of ABW fundraising for 10 years and rising.

Need to pick up your weekend package or purchase some vintage ABW swag, we’ve got you covered!

American Brotherhood Contests – Part 2

The final day of competition begins at 2:00 pm. See the contestants in their final categories of competition, and find out who will be sashed as the next American Leather Family! Come prepared to bid on fabulous baskets assembled by our contestants as we auction them to the highest bidders. Proceeds from the basket auction go to support the ABW Travel Fund.

4:30 – 10:00 pm (or later)
American Brotherhood Weekend Victory Party

All weekend attendees, contestants, judges and staff are invited to join in a final family meal to celebrate the American Leather Family. This dinner includes salad, entree and dessert. Sure to end your weekend right.
