The 11th October 2018 is National Coming Out Day and to mark the occasion the Alliance Network will be hosting an event in partnership with, and on site at Aston University, just a 10 minute walk from Snow Hill Station, to explore what coming out means to people from different backgrounds and situations.

This event will provide the key findings of two recent pieces of research around LGBT+ employees and the workplace, as well as exploring the issues, barriers and support needs of LGBT+ workforce around the topic of coming out in the workplace.

This event will be an opportunity to understand personal journeys, as well as how you as a friend, colleague, employer or employee can be better able to support someone through their coming out journey.
