About our host:
Asha Harkness (she/her) is a proud queer, brown, neurodivergent woman and an equity strategist, public speaker, trainer, and the Founder of Indigo Inclusion. As an anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) consultant, she brings a wealth of experience to her work.
Asha describes her mind as a hive of bees, constantly foraging for new information from abundant and diverse flora. The unique honey she generates soothes, strengthens, and is crafted for sharing.
Her professional journey spans work with global FMCGs, CICs, and advertising and media agencies. She has experienced a lot of exclusion and discrimination throughout her education and career. Asha has been on a difficult journey to discover that self-acceptance, self-love and being her authentic self are the only paths to achieving happiness and success.
Asha is passionate about building sustainable and intersectionally inclusive workplaces and cultures, ensuring everyone in organisations has an opportunity to grow and thrive.
