We invite you and your organisation to join us for one or both parts of our next event on Thursday 26th June, to be hosted at Forvis Mazars.

The event will consist of two parts:

LGBTQ+ Matters from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Out Together have partnered with Forvis Mazars and Mills & Reeve to host a series of regional roundtable discussions which will focus on proactive strategies for businesses to engage with matters affecting the LGBTQ+ community not only as employees, but also as customers and stakeholders.

LGBTQ+ inclusion is taking on greater significance in the face of negative developments in many countries.

A recently published Gallup poll in the US reported that the percentage of people identifying as LGBTQ+ continues to rise, reaching an estimated all time high of 9.3%. This is explained by the increase to 23.3% in the number of Generation Z (19-28) reaching adulthood who identify as LGBTQ+. These demographics will have a major impact on organisations' strategies.

LGBTQ+ Matters will bring together Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) professionals, community advocates, and members of Club Out Together to:

• Discuss the current landscape of LGBTQ+ rights and identify pressing issues.
• Collaborate on developing inclusive policies and best practices within organisations.
• Mobilise efforts to counteract discriminatory policies and promote equality.

Club Out Together’s mission is to unite professional LGBTQ+ individuals of all ages who share a dedication to driving positive change. It presents a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded people from across West Yorkshire, to share our passion and shape future initiatives. For many of us it also creates a sense of purpose that can inspire and positively influence those around us.
