About our host:

My name is Mohamad Ali and I am a queer Lebanese man based in London. I hold a BA in Psychology from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon and an MSc in Clinical Psychology from Swansea University, UK. Currently, I work as a teaching assistant in a special needs school and as a psychological researcher. I’m a graduate member of the British Psychological Society and the Assistant Director of the Gender and Sexuality Division of the Lebanese Psychological Association.

With a passion for understanding the complex connections between thoughts, behaviours, and biological influences, I am committed to helping individuals better navigate mental health challenges, empowering them to live meaningful lives. I’m also dedicated to raising awareness about the psychological and social factors affecting well-being.

Beyond psychology, I’m passionate about heritage mansions, urbex, renaissance art (yes, Beyoncé’s album too!), existential philosophy, and great films. In my free time, I connect with loved ones, hit the gym, attend pole dance classes, read, and EAT.

Fun fact: I had five wisdom teeth!
