Creative Café and #Bookdraw are collaborating for the 'LesBi Books' workshop shout out about what amazing Lesbian and Bisexual books are on offer! This workshop for women and LGBT people over 16.

#Bookdraw is a channel on YouTube by Oly Bliss who creates artworks inspired by queer fiction. The books are reviewed with creative responses to the novels. You can check out some of the videos on the channel here

You are invited to come and share your favourite reads with the group and take part in creating a new zine. We will each contribute a page (or more if you like) sharing your thoughts about the reasons why you loved the book, this will form a collection of everyone’s reviews which we will share locally across Manchester!

To take part just come along with a book in mind. If you can bring the book itself that’s great, if you don’t have a copy that won’t matter, you just might like to draw out a particular quote for your review. If writing is not you’re thing, that’s ok it would be great to include visual responses to the books as well. If you don’t have a book in mind but want to take part and see what books other people enjoy, feel free! We can show you a bunch of book that might peek your interest. If you want a picture of yourself added with you page please bring one along (you can also remain anonymous if you prefer, we can take a picture on the day or find one online) we will supply lots of fun crafty things for you to have play with.
