The LGBT+ Everyone Else Staff Forum is delighted to have Steven Dryden, one of the curators from the recent British Library exhibition, Gay UK: Love, Law and Liberty joining us on 6th December.

Personal testimony. Public protest. Art and culture. The exhibition tells the story of love, legislative change and the battles for equality experienced by gay men and women in the UK. 50 years after the Sexual Offences Act partially decriminalised homosexuality, the exhibition looked at the build up to this monumental step, its impact, and asked what challenges still remain.

Steven will be presenting highlights from the exhibition and the British Library collections on which it drew.

This promises to be a fascinating event and one not to be missed.
