It’s never too early to give folks the opportunity to explore identity or to learn about the many forms of gender expression. Genderful! is a free event for children, teens, and their caregivers, focused on exploring gender through curiosity, creativity, and community. The day will feature:

• Writing workshop with Barrel of Monkeys (Morning session)!
• Makeup workshops with Chicago Queens, Wanda and Yolo!
• Haircuts by Logan Parlor (Afternoon session)!
• Women and Children First sponsored reading corner!
• LGBTQ history pop-up exhibit!
• Storytelling!
• Local vendors from the QTGNC community!
• Arts and crafts!
• Hands-on collaborative zine making!
• Resource fair of local grassroots LGBTQ orgs!

If You Want It
is a community of transgender, gender non-conforming, gender expansive, intersex, and cisgender humans brought together by a desire to deconstruct the gender binary and a love of art and expression.

Based on the near west side of Chicago, Urban Prairie Waldorf School is an early childhood and elementary school dedicated to bringing Waldorf education into the 21st century.

The I Do Company Chicago is an inclusive events and wedding brand that welcomes clients of all races, ages, religions, abilities, gender presentations and sexual orientations, including LGBTQ people.

Genderful! provides an opportunity for If You Want It, UPWS and the I Do Company to affirm and support trans, genderqueer, non-binary, and gender expansive youth and caregivers.
