Working towards a positive Social + Environmental impact, we are hosting a pop-up dinner series. This time, your host is York LGBT Forum.

In partnership with York CVS and Lewis & Duncan we are running a pop-up dinner series showcasing local charities & sustainable practices. We are working towards positive social + environmental impact collaborating/celebrating with local organisations & individuals AKA: good people doing good things.

With so much waste in the catering & events sector, we would like to raise awareness of being more sustainable at events. No single use items, no waste, compost leftovers where able & all décor and crockery will all be reusable.

The Evening:

Seated on communal tables, you'll be served a delicious array of seasonal Vegetarian sharing plates by York's very own 'Lewis & Duncan Catering'.

Special guest poet Ian Humphreys will be treating us to some readings of his work throughout the evening.

Communal Tables + Sharing Plates provide an Opportunity to connect with your community, sharing food & conversation.

There will be NO BAR to purchase drinks, but you are welcome to Bring Your Own Alcohol (glass bottles of wine & beer only).

At GPNT, we strive to be inclusive as possible & accessible for the community. For this reason, we have started a pay-it-forward ticket system. This is an opportunity to purchase a ticket for someone who is struggling financially & wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend. Ian Humphreys’ debut collection, Zebra (Nine Arches Press, 2019) is on the longlist for this year’s Portico Prize. The Yorkshire Times said of the book: In all of its magnificent bounty Zebra must be one of the poetry collections of 2019. Ian has won the Hamish Canham Prize and been highly commended in the Forward Prizes for Poetry.
