Haringey over 50s LGBT+Alexandra Palace Heritage Walk

Join Alexandra Palace and Opening Doors London for a volunteer- led Park Walks and find out about the descents of famous Victorian Ballonist Professor Baldwin and Edwardian daredevil Dolly Shepherd, the story of Leo the Lion and many more curious facts around the history of Alexandra Park.

Walks are about 75 min long. Free of charge, donations welcome. Booking via eventbrite essential. 
Meeting point: Transmitter Hall, Alexandra Palace South Terrace.

Tour times:
11am for Opening Doors London Members

Please note that parts of the route might be quite steep, therefore we recommend visitors to wear comfortable shoes.


On the day, please go to the Transmitter Hall 10 minutes prior to your tour start promptly. We regret we won’t be able to accept latecomers.
