When social injustices occur and we belong to the majority group it can be easy for us to sympathise, yet disassociate without taking any action to materially improve the conditions minority groups are affected by daily.
Know your power: Many of those who paved the way for change and fought for equal rights alongside Dr Martin Luther King were white allies.
In this workshop, we will explore what an ally is in 2018 and how to become a better one.
This workshop isn't for the faint-hearted, we’ll be taking an intimate look at privilege and white privilege what it means, how it affects us, business and communities and how we can use our privilege to influence powerful and long-lasting change
Primarily looking at race: We’ll explore some of the most common structures in the UK that perpetuate oppression and learn how we all play a part in dismantling racism and inequality.
Understand more, improve your self-development and feel empowered to be the change you want to see in the world. It starts with you.
