Led by Patrons - Baroness Verma of Leicester and Baroness Burt of Solihull, this conference on Institutional Sexual Harassment will address a key number of questions, including whether institutions are enablers of sexual harassment. It is time to call #TimesUp on the complacency and complicity of institutions.

The #MeToo movement has successfully broken down barriers that have historically silenced the oppressed and empowered the oppressors.

The focus of the conference is to draw action points on disabling the inaction of institutions which has inevitably created an enabling environment and culture for sexual harassment. We are determined to go against the grain and explore:

1. Imposition of monitoring obligations on institutions

2. Instilling a basic standard of care

3. Guidelines, Best Practice on investigating and resolving complaints

4. Creation of a regulatory body or Ombudsman to monitor institutional behaviour, 5. with power to reprimand and penalise

The overall approach is inclusive and collaborative. Accordingly, we welcome stakeholder representatives from diverse sectors to the conference. We want to hear from you.
