Intertech @ BBC - The future of VR.

Intertech and BBC's VR Hub invite you to their event to hear about how VR has changed the way we engage with content, and what the future holds for this new and exciting technology.

During the evening there will be talks from some of the most innovative and creative members of the BBC’s VR team, who will discuss some of the projects they’ve taken on and the challenges they’ve faced in ensuring content is relevant, original and inclusive. We will also have guest speakers from outside the BBC to discuss how VR has helped them improve their business, including Oliver Salway from Softroom.

Following the speeches, there will be an opportunity to try some Virtual Reality content for yourself, whilst networking and enjoying a drink.

FAQs

Do I need to bring my ticket to the event?

No, however it's incredibly important that your name matches your registration and that you have photographic ID due to security restrictions in place at the BBC.

Will everyone, and can everyone, have a chance to try the VR content?

On the evening we'll ask those of you who wish to try out the VR content to sign up for a 10-minute slot to guarantee that you'll have a chance to try this out. We'd also recommend that those of you who suffer from motion sickness may experience a similar feeling of nausea when using the VR equipment.
