Is there a place for LGBT+ people in mainstream religion?
That is one of many questions that we will be putting to a carefully selected panel of local religious leaders, in the first debate of it's kind to take place in Reading.
Please come along and pose your questions, learn about what religious texts truly say about LGBT+ people and interact with our panel. This event shall be Chaired by Reading Pride Ambassador and Reading Borough Council Cllr, Sophia 'Phi' James

The venue for the debate will be the Mayors Parlour inside Reading Borough Council and we are truly thankful for the Mayors support of the LGBT+ community in Reading by agreeing to host this important event.
For the first time in it's history, Reading will be celebrating LGBT+ History Month with a number of specially created events taking place around the town in February.
On the evening, the front doors to the Council may be closed, please use the buzzer to the left of the door and inform security that you are attending the debate in the Mayors Parlour.
