Landscape Institute LGBT+ workshop

This year the LI Board and Council have supported the creation of a Diversity and Inclusion (D+I) Working Group to help engage our membership and define our strategy.

Over the months ahead the D+I Working Group will convene workshops on the five priority areas of its work, including disability, ethnicity, gender, sexuality and social and economic background. The aim of these events is to:

1) Highlight the issues faced by minority groups within the profession

2) Make recommendations for addressing these issues to be incorporated into the LI's D+I strategy

The first of these events will focus on LGBT+ issues and further information is given below.

LGBT+ workshop

The LGBT+ workshop will take place on Friday 1 September and be faciliated by a representative from The Diversity Trust.

The event has a maximum capacity of fifteen attendees and the Landscape Institute will cover the travel costs of members who participate.

The Chief Executive will also host a dinner after the workshop for all participants and you are asked to indicate whether you are able to attend the dinner when you book.

Who is the event for?

While the event is open to all members of the Institute who have an interest in supporting minority groups within the profession, LGBT+ members are particularly invited to participate.
