A discussion on the past, present and future of The Pride. From what formed the idea and why I decided to tell that story, to elements that I think are important in The Pride and the wider comics discourse, before finally touching base with hints at where the project will go in the future. A discussion that will touch on the ideas of representation as well as the actual nitty and gritty of making comics for yourself, by yourself, without publisher backing.
Joe Glass
Joe Glass is the writer and creator of The Pride, an all LGBTQ+ superhero team comic series. Along with anthology sister project The Pride Adventures, The Pride continues to tell exciting action-packed superhero fiction but with a more inclusive lens. Joe is based in South Wales, where he works on The Pride and several new projects coming soon.

Lit Fest Event
This event is part of Leeds LGBT Literature Festival in conjunction with Leeds Libraries and supported by Leeds City Council's Community Teams and LGBT+ Community Hub.
This event is free but tickets are essential. All donations gratefully received and will go towards making Leeds LGBT Literature Festival an annual event.
