Our first LGBT+ Conference at North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust is a unique chance to hear from inspiring people who bring LGBT+ inclusion to life and empower our audience to create lasting change. You will hear a range of inspiring LGBT role models and allies, from Staffordshire and further afield. Be inspired by the engaging and emotional personal stories of our conference speakers and from a range of experts.

Help to develop more LGBT+ inclusive health and related service experiences
Learn to be a better LGBT+ Ally and to create LGBT+ inclusive workplace for your team

Who should attend?
This event is aimed at all of the following:-
LGBT+ colleagues and LGBT+ Staff Network members from NSCHT and wider partner organisations (including health, ambulance, fire, police, local government, charities / third sector organisations and private sector.
Non-LGBT+ allies who would like to further their knowledge about LGBT+ inclusion and facilitate positive change
Trust service managers are particularly encouraged to take part
We would also value attendance by service users representatives, Trust volunteers, members of our local LGBT+ community, community groups and other stakeholders, to help us improve LGBT+ inclusion across the Trust and beyond
Accessibility
We want our events to be accessible to everyone. The venue is wheelchair accessible. A multi-faith / quiet room will be available. Should you require a BSL interpreter, electronic notetaker or other support to improve your experience of the event, please contact [email protected] when making your booking.
All delegates should expect to feel safe, welcome and included at our events. On the day, if you experience or witness something that makes you feel uncomfortable please speak to any member of Trust staff.
Please note that to ensure our events are safe and welcoming spaces we reserve the right to refuse entry to the venue at our discretion.

Booking and Cancellations
Our LGBT+ Conference is funded by North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust and there is no charge for attendance. Please reserve your place by using the Eventbrite link below. We ask that if you should no longer be able to attend the Conference that you cancel your booking, to allow us to offer the place to anyone on a waiting list or to adjust the numbers for the day.
Refreshments and a light buffet lunch will be available free of charge.
