For Hate Crime Awareness Week 2017, LGBT Foundation are hosting a Community Conference for LGBT people to come together to take a stand against hate crime. At the event, we will discover how we can build communities in which victims of hate crime are supported, and feel confident to report.

The free event will involve a communal meal, as well as activities led by our experienced facilitators. Through these, we will learn from each other about the different ways we can support victims of hate crime, and promote reporting. We will come together to take a stand against hate crime, and to build communities in which victims of hate crime are able to talk about their experiences and get the support they need.

The event is from 6:30-8:30 on Tuesday the 17th of October, and is free of charge. Food and drink will be served, and attendees will all get a selection of hate crime resources.
