LGBT History Month is a month-long annual event that celebrates the history and achievements of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people every February in the United Kingdom.

Each year has a different theme to work with from the school curriculum, which is led by the organisation ‘School’s Out UK’and strives to claim and celebrate LGBT history, which has been rendered invisible by our legal and educational systems.

This year, we are focusing on Geography: Mapping the World and we are so excited to be coming to launch this national event at The Museum of Liverpool overlooking the River Mersey on the 8th November 2017.

We will be welcoming guests from 6pm and encourage you to visit the Museums brand new exhibition of Liverpool LGBT life 'Tales from the City' before our event start at 7pm.

There is a small fee of £3 for entry to this event which will support the work of LGBTHM, As a thank you, you will get a free LGBTHM 2018 badge on the evening at registration.
