LGBTech Netherlands has chosen Google to be our proud partner for 2017’s Pre Pride event in Amsterdam.

Pride is about celebrating who you are and who you love. Yet, being gay is still a crime in 73 countries. Even in most open minded nations, recently, we see cases of serious discrimination against LGBTQ people. Nevertheless, we also see tremendous achievements coming from worldwide LGBTQ members and supporters.

You see? Our world is bi-polarising in many ways and it is happening fast. How can we, as LGBTQ technologists, use our skills to combat inequality? How can we rise above and contribute towards a good cause? Where are the new boundaries, and how can we use technology to erase boundaries?

To celebrate Pride and to raise awareness to these issues, 10 international “Googlers/Gayglers” from 10 designations will fly in and join forces with Team LGBTech Netherlands. More importantly, we want to invite 60 of you to participate in this super exclusive and festive event. Together, let’s celebrate and let’s erase boundaries!
