Debates
As the pride of conversation, our renowned debates drive our event. In previous years we have hosted panels and social action campaigns around such vital issues as 'Sex and Relationships Education' and 'Mental Health', featuring prominent experts, campaigners and those experienced in the specific issues.
This year, our main focus is on the LGBT+ youth homeless crisis. Our panel on this is hosted by Attitude magazine in support of homeless charity the Albert Kennedy Trust. We are also running a #BeyondTheBinary panel, giving a platform to trans and non-binary voices with My Genderation.
Our Gay Star Students stage will host panels on Bisexuality, Body Image and a unique Youtubers and Puppies meet and greet!
Speakers confirmed for the event include Evan Davis (Newsnight), Ayla Holdom (Former RAF Pilot), Calum Scott (Dancing On My Own singer), James Barr (MTV), Fox Fisher (Non-Binary Activist), Ollie Locke (Made in Chelsea), Dr Ranj Singh (
This Morning) and Courtney Act (RuPaul's Drag Race).
