ParaPride 2023: Making LGBTQ+ History

LGBTQ+ History Month is here! Come witness history in the making at ParaPride's largest showcase of LGBTQ+ disabled talent on Sunday 19th February, 12.30 - 17.00, Hackney Town Hall

    - Our Performers: Hosted by the fabulous Drag sensation, activist and ally Son Of A Tutu. We are so proud to reveal our amazing performers, presenting new acts performing at ParaPride for the first time as well as our regular performers returning by huge demand. These will include: Dan Tiernan,  The Wheel Elvis,  Ebony Rose Dark,  Tattoo Pole Boy,  Frankie the Poet,  *Aerial Mel,  Mzz Kimberley,  Crip Ladywood,  Maria Hurtz,  Jamie Hale

    - The panel: Esi and Daniele will present a special edition of 'Dis-section': What do we really think about accessibility and disability inclusion in the LGBTQ+ community? Reflecting on the feelings of 'putting up with second best'. Joined by special guest speakers; Sarah Stephenson Hunter, Head of Equality & Diversity, University of OxfordClaire McComb, Director Mental Health Services, ELOPBarrister Mark Henderson, Doughty Street Chambers.

      - Community partners: For the first time we will have a Community Networking space for everyone to connect, engage, share information and have fun. This will include: Stonewall Housing, Positive East, Schools Out, 17-24-30 National HCAW, and more.


      We are honoured to announce a very special attendance by the Mayor of Hackney - Philip Glanville, who will give us a special welcome with the support of Hackney and Hackney Pride 365.
