About the speaker:
Sarah Rench, MSc, MBA, is the Global Generative AI Security & European Security Lead at Avanade, where she designs, builds and manages teams to build Data and AI & Generative AI Security systems.
She has been working in the data and AI and cybersecurity industry for over 15 years in various architect roles, and is also a Databricks Architect (Champion), Microsoft & Claude SME. She has develop various systems including data quality tools including various AI models, architecting data migration to cloud, data and AI security, threat detection using machine learning, insider risk management systems and leveraging various AI and security systems.
She has worked with seven of the world’s top ten banks, various private equity firms and insurance, as well as organizations across the healthcare and legal sectors. She has advised C-suite executives across industries on data, AI, and cybersecurity strategy, helping them design and implement AI systems while strengthening resilience against emerging threats ranging from AI-enabled attacks to the future risks posed by quantum computing.
She promotes Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in everything she does and through all her various roles including being; European Executive Sponsor of Prism Avanade's LGBTQ+ network and Chair of British Computer Society Pride network.
She founded RepresentAI to help women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and other underrepresented groups enter and thrive in AI careers. Through AI sharing AI training, networking, building AI skills, custom GPTs and tools, sharing industry insights, and career opportunities, RepresentAI has upskilled more than 1,800 people in AI and is working towards reaching 3,000 by 2026, while championing the responsible development of AI for society.
