Supporting male victims, and assessing who is doing what to whom

Please do not sign up to this session unless you have completed the WDVF's Domestic Violence, Risk Assessment etc, session. The trainers can recognise whether or not you've completed our session beforehand, and unfortunately will have to ask you to leave if you haven't.

In this 2.5 hour session, we will be covering the following:

Exploring masculinity as a social construct and the implication for male victims

Male victims’ experiences

Differences between abusive/unhealthy/healthy relationships

Tools to explore who is doing what to whom: Respect

Exploring LGBT experiences of DA

Case studies

Please park at the Civic Centre car park and walk through the under pass. There isn't enough parking at the Archives for you to definitely be able to obtain a space.
