Gulabi Mela (The Pink fête) is an annual Mumbai Pride Month event curated by Yaariyan for the LGBTQ+ youth of Mumbai.
Incepted in 2014, has since provided a safe space for marginalized LGBTQ+ individuals to interact with the local community, exhibit their talents, participate in capacity-building workshops and motivate young entrepreneurs to pilot entrepreneurial ideas to an eager audience of 1500+ LGBTQ+ and ally community.
Gulabi Mela with its diverse activities continues to focus on engaging intersectionalities within the LGBTQ+ communities continuing the dialogue on advocacy of the Human Rights of LGBTQ+ in the folds of entertainment.
Now in its 2025 edition, this vibrant cultural festival combines entertainment, awareness, and advocacy. The event showcases the rich diversity of the LGBTQ+ community while fostering inclusivity and promoting social change.
Gulabi Mela attracts thousands of attendees from across the city, including members of the community, allies, activists, corporate partners, influencers, media and other stakeholders.
