Director HIGH PROFILE CLUB Leeds - Linda Sage

In 2005 Linda threw off her corporate ties to run away in her own burnout, (not that she would have admitted it at the time, denial is a comfortable place to live) after over twenty years of corporate, in-house, Governmental, institutional, psychology and international training.  It took her until 2011 before she had healed enough to share her story with others, only to find there was more need than ever, to care for the caregivers.

Even with a Masters in psychology and an Honours Degree in Education, does it make you immune to the effects of Compassion Fatigue, even with all that knowledge it defeated her, just like it does multitudes of others. Coming out the other side was the start of a new chapter in Linda’s life, it was time for her to travel the world raising awareness, understanding and prevention of Compassion Fatigue improving awareness of self care. She has addressed and motivated audiences throughout the UK, Europe, Saudi Arabia, UAE and USA. Her inspirational life as an adult with a lot of time working behind prison gates, to an elegant, eloquent, confident public speaker shares her personalized message and practical ways to simplify ways to care for yourself as much as you care for others, Linda’s message is for anyone, who wants to make the effort to break out of the Compassion Fatigue syndrome and have more in their life.

Linda’s empathy and understanding of struggle as a professional, as an entrepreneur and personally has fueled her passion for learning from others and in turn empowering others. Compassion Fatigue is all too often misdiagnosed as stress, depression and/or anxiety, but it is all of that and much more.  Caring for yourself should not be a guilty secret, it is a necessity – not a luxury. Confident communication with yourself and others is a cornerstone to Lind enabling others to improve their self-worth and learn to say no.

Her successful book Caring for the Caregivers, has provided many arr ha moments for readers, a proactive book based on her seminars and workshops.  Linda fought and conquered her demons and through her own achievement she has helped and supported thousands of others to defeat theirs.
