We're pleased to provide our Trans & Non-Binary Inclusion training at an open community session at the Belfast Trans Resource Centre each month. This training & workshop session provides health & education employers, service providers, employers and other people supporting trans & non-binary people through their work with the information on how to make their work inclusive, accepting and culturally competent.

Participants will learn about

• Language, terminology & cultural competency
• Demographics of the trans community
• Barriers experienced by trans people in NI
• Legislation & regulatory framework
• Healthcare issues
• Practical guidance & best practice
• Other relevant issues

There are opportunities for discussion throughout, and tea/coffee, soft drinks and snacks are provided throughout.

Slides and materials from the session will be provided to all participants, and certificates of attendance are available in electronic and paper formats.

Registration and arrival is from 9:30am, with the session beginning at 10am. Participants need to attend the full session to be certificated or have reference letters provided to employers.
