We would be delighted if you can join us for our latest event - Diversity and Inclusion. This event will introduce you to the BS 76005 Code of Practice - Valuing People through Diversity and Inclusion.
This standard offers guidance and recommendations on approaches for an organisation to value its people through diversity and social inclusion. It shows how organizations of any size and sector can develop objectives, policies, practices and behaviours that go beyond compliance with legislation and increase the diversity and inclusion of people in, or engaging with, organisations.
We are delighted to be hosting this event, supported by the local CIPD Branch, which will include presentations by the following key speakers:
Dave Harrison, MD of the Centre for Assessment (CFA), on The Launch of the New Framework
Wilson Wong, Head of Insight and Futures at CIPD, on The Methodology of the Framework
Ann Marie Vibert, MD and Head of Banking and Custody Solutions at RBC, on Woman in Leadership
Yvonne Saxon and Darren Maw from Vista Online, the first organisation to achieve the standard, on their journey through the framework
Brad Taylor, Director of People at CIPD, on The Health of Diversity and Inclusion from the perspective of an HR Practitioner
Cheryl Kaye, Local CIPD Branch Co-Chair, on What is Diversity and Inclusion and how organisations can promote it
The event will count as 3.5 hours of CPD and is a 'not for profit' event with all ticket sales being donated to Silkwoth Lodge Charity after deduction of costs.
We hope to see you there for what promises to be a very informative and insightful event.
