Celebrating LGBT+ Parents & Carers Day on September 19

On September 19th, Proud 2B Parents will host its second LGBT+ Parents & Carers Day. Proudly supported by myGwork, this special occasion honors the achievements, recognizes the challenges, and celebrates the diversity of LGBTQ+ families across the UK and beyond.

The 2025 theme, Visibility, shines a spotlight on LGBTQ+ parents and carers. Being visible is more than just being seen – it’s about being recognized, understood, and supported in every aspect of life. Visibility is vital to breaking down barriers, dismantling harmful stereotypes, and inspiring inclusivity for the next generation.

This September 19th, join Proud 2B Parents in celebrating progress, acknowledging challenges, and amplifying the voices of LGBTQ+ families. This day is about looking back at how far we’ve come and pushing forward towards a future where every family – no matter how it’s formed – is celebrated, respected, and supported.
