ATG Entertainment at a glance

ATG Entertainment is a world leader in live entertainment, owning, operating or programming more than 70 venues across Britain, the United States, Germany, Austria and Spain. Built over 30 years, the Group entertains over 18 million audience members a year across historic theatres, studio theatres, cinemas, conference spaces and modern live music arenas, and stages more than 15,000 live performances annually. With over 11,000 colleagues across two continents, ATG pairs commercial scale with a stated inclusion mission — a stage for everyone — delivered through its UK IDEA Committee, four staff-led employee networks including an LGBTQ Network, and a Corporate Social Responsibility strategy that treats community, diversity and inclusion as one of its three core pillars.

About ATG Entertainment

Passion Behind Performance.

It is the passion of our teams — covering every discipline across the live entertainment industry — that underpins our continuing growth and success. Our goal is to create a working environment that brings the best out of everyone, regardless of discipline or seniority.

Four values sit at the heart of our culture:

  • We are passionate about our work, our business and our industry.
  • We are smart in our quest for simple, efficient and innovative solutions.
  • We are collaborative, and help each other to reach our goals.
  • We are ambitious, and seek to exceed people's expectations.

Through these values we bring great live experiences to the widest possible audience, give the world's best creative talent the stage it deserves, and provide our people and partners with opportunities to realise their full potential.

More than 11,000 people work at ATG. What takes place on stage is at the heart of everything we do — but it only happens because of the brilliant team working behind the scenes.

What does ATG Entertainment do?

ATG Entertainment operates across three inter-related areas of the live entertainment business:

  • Venue ownership and operation — over 70 venues across Britain, the US, Germany, Austria and Spain, including 10 West End venues, making us the largest owner-operator in London's West End, alongside a significant Broadway portfolio.
  • Show production — through our in-house production companies and in partnership with the world's leading producers and promoters, we present over 15,000 live performances every year, from Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child to The Lion King, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Stranger Things: The First Shadow and Starlight Express.
  • Ticketing and marketing — ATG Tickets processes more than 18 million tickets a year for musicals, plays, concerts, comedy and a wide range of live events.

We also restore and reinvent buildings — bringing closed and forgotten theatres such as the Colonial Theatre in Boston, the Hudson Theatre in New York and Stockton's Globe back to their former glory — and help design and deliver new venues.

What is it like to work at ATG Entertainment?

ATG is where technicians, performers-turned-producers, front of house teams, marketers, ticketing specialists, learning practitioners and commercial minds come together to make live entertainment happen — eight shows a week, in buildings that are often more than a century old.

  • Venue and Front of House — customer experience, hospitality, box office, bars and lounges
  • Technical Theatre — lighting, sound, wardrobe, stage management, automation, maintenance
  • Head Office and Support — marketing, ticketing, digital and technology, finance, legal, HR, procurement
  • Creative Learning — education, community partnerships and outreach
  • Early Careers and Schemes — technical apprenticeships, entry-level roles and training programmes

We recruit across the UK — including London and the West End, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Manchester, Milton Keynes and Richmond — as well as internationally, with offices in Woking, London, New York, San Francisco, San Antonio, Madrid, Mannheim and Cologne. Roles range from casual and fixed-term through to permanent, which means there are genuine routes in for people at every stage of their working life.

ATG Entertainment is Great Place to Work Certified in Great Britain (2025).

Our People — Diversity, Inclusion and Sustainability

Our mission: a stage for everyone.

Our stages are a platform for compelling stories — stories that are for all, by all, and of all. We shine our spotlight on our differences, and believe that understanding and celebrating those differences makes us better global citizens. We are passionate about the pursuit of true diversity and equality, and we strive to make our venues beacons of those ideals in our communities. Onstage and off, we hold ourselves accountable for nurturing an inclusive culture in which everyone can bring their authentic selves.

We recognise that we do not have all the answers. We strive to listen, to learn and to change, so that ATG becomes a truly inclusive organisation.

What Employee Networks does ATG Entertainment have?

In the UK, our IDEA Committee (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access) is a body of staff committed to challenging the way ATG and the wider industry supports colleagues from the many and varied backgrounds that reflect the communities we operate in. The committee celebrates diversity and inclusion, promotes anti-racism, facilitates Pride events, marks key moments such as International Women's Day and Mental Health Awareness Week, delivers Disability Confident campaigns, and champions our employee networks.

All staff are encouraged to join our networks, which are open to everyone working for the company, in any role or capacity:

  • LGBTQ Network — community, allyship and visibility for LGBTQ+ colleagues across the Group, and the driving force behind our Pride activity.
  • Women's Network — supporting and advancing women at ATG, and anchoring our International Women's Day programme.
  • Neurodiversity Network — building understanding of neurodivergence and shaping how we adjust the way we work, recruit and communicate.
  • Global Majority Network — championing race equity, representation and cultural celebration.

Our networks feed into the wider IDEA Committee, contributing to its mission for impactful change and to the continued improvement of the company's culture.

How does ATG Entertainment support LGBTQ+ colleagues?

Theatre has always been a home for LGBTQ+ people — as artists, as audiences and as the people who make the work happen. We take seriously the responsibility that comes with that.

Our LGBTQ Network exists to:

  • Support LGBTQ+ colleagues across every venue, office and production
  • Be a voice for our people in policy and culture conversations, feeding directly into the IDEA Committee
