At Blossom LGBT CIC, we support the amazing things that LGBTQ+ young adults can achieve when they are empowered to succeed without the fear of discrimination. It's our vision that by working together, we’ll create environments where LGBTQ+ young adults can succeed in all aspects of their social and professional lives. We offer a free national mentoring scheme, employability webinars, and work experience programmes for young adults aged 16 to 30 years old from the LGBTQIA+ community.Blossom began in 2019 being run from the living rooms of inspired volunteers who wanted to change the way young LGBTQ+ people connected. Quickly we discovered the huge need for supportive spaces for LGBTQ+ young adults. By 2021 Blossom had registered as a community interest company and made a name for itself as a progressive and forward-thinking community-led organisation.
Before working with Blossom our members tell us that they felt confused, isolated, and withdrawn. We empower them to blossom… into beautiful & confident people. This allows our members to find true happiness and gives them the power to build sturdy careers, meaningful relationships, and pride in who they are.

Diversity & Inclusion
We're a proudly trans and bi inclusive organisation and have active commitments to accessibility, anti-racism, and equality in all of it's forms. At every level of our organisation (including at board level) we over represent communities traditionally considered under represented within the LGBTQIA+ community. As we grow, we're constantly innovating our D&I strategy and have recently launched our first ever ethical decision making & procurement policy.
Support Our Work
Your kindness helps us organise events, workshops, and educational programs that foster inclusivity and diversity. We strive to create safe spaces where LGBTQIA+ individuals can express themselves freely and be celebrated for who they are. Last year Blossom LGBT supported over 120 young adults with less than £10,000 in the bank, when we say every donation matters - we mean it!
