Kaleidoscope Trust works to uphold the human rights of LGBT+ people in countries around the world where they are discriminated against or marginalised due to their sexual orientation, gender identity and/or gender expression. We dare to envision a world where LGBT+ people everywhere, irrespective of their country of birth or residence, are free, equal, and in full possession of the rights to which they are entitled.
COVID-19 is having drastic effects across the world – and a disproportionate impact on marginalised communities. Kaleidoscope Trust's recently published consultation LGBTI+ in the Commonwealth in the COVID-19 Era includes the testimony of 41 LGBTI+ individuals, covering 37 of 54 Commonwealth countries and reveals an unfolding humanitarian crisis for LGBTI+ people across the Commonwealth as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Your donations will help ensure LGBTI+ activists with some of the funding they need to deliver Covid-19 rapid relief interventions, and so they can continue defending the human rights of LGBTI+ people around the world.
