The “Kyn” in Kyndryl came from kinship, which represents the strong bonds Kyndryl has with each other, customers, and communities. Kinship @ Kyndryl works to strengthen these bonds, focused on: ensuring all Kyndryls feel included, supporting Kyndryls to be well, helping Kyndryls be ready for their following career opportunities and fostering our bonds with our customers and the communities where we work and live. It represents how Kyndryls are at the heart of our business as well as our focus on a purpose-driven workplace where every Kyndryl can be well and thrive in the adventure of their career.
Business Groups at Kyndryl
All Kyndryl employees were given an opportunity to help name our Business Resource Groups. The name Kyndryl Inclusion Networks was chosen.
Kyndryl Inclusion Networks (KINs) are company-sponsored, employee-led resource groups open to all Kyndryls and dedicated to creating spaces where employees can find and provide support and advice. Participation is voluntary, and all Kyndryls may join KINs either as members of these communities or as allies.
Executive sponsors champion and support the work of Kyndryl Inclusion Network leaders to co-create a safe space for supporting each other as well as an environment that empowers all to bring their whole selves to work, individually and collectively, and to support the activation of our culture, The Kyndryl Way.

In fiscal 2024, we launched a new global, comprehensive well-being strategy, Kyndryl Be Well. Kyndryl Be Well is brought to life through a range of programs, benefits and policies that support Kyndryls’ physical, mental, social and financial well-being, at no cost to all Kyndryls and their families.
