
About LGBTQ+ STEM
LGBTQ+ STEM supports queer and trans identified researchers in STEM fields. Originally established in 2016 by Dr Beth Montague-Hellen, LGBTQ+ STEM founded a community for LGBTQ+ people in STEM. Since its onset, there has been an international surge in interest for LGBTQ+ inclusion in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and increasing evidence that there is need for action for LGBTQ+ people to reliably reach their potential.
