The NGPA is the largest organization of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender aviation professionals and enthusiasts from around the world. Since 1990 our mission has been simple: to build, support, and unite the LGBTQ+ aviation community worldwide.

Working at NGPA

Working at NGPA as a staff member or volunteer is an inspiring and collaborative experience centered around advancing diversity and inclusion within aviation. The culture emphasizes community, authenticity, and purpose. Every project, event, and initiative contributes to creating a more welcoming aviation industry. Staff and volunteers work closely to plan national events, support members, and build meaningful partnerships with industry leaders. Diversity & Inclusion

NGPA’s work in Diversity and Inclusion is driven by our commitment to ensuring every identity has representation and a voice within aviation. Our Women’s Committee empowers and connects women across all sectors of the industry, while our Trans and Nonbinary Committee fosters visibility, education, and support for gender-diverse aviators. Additionally, our Advocacy Committee champions equitable policies and partnerships that strengthen inclusion both within NGPA and across the aviation community.
